Philips OLED950, 2.1 sound section
The Philips OLED950 TVs feature a 2.1 sound system identical to that of the Philips OLED810 TVs. It is therefore capable of delivering 70 watts. Philips indicates that the crossover has been particularly carefully designed to precisely separate the frequencies intended for the front speakers from those of the woofer (triple ring). Namely, four passive membranes are present to reinforce the impact of the bass.
Philips OLED950, 4-sided Ambilight function
The four-sided Ambilight feature is now available on Philips OLED950 TVs. As a reminder, for three years now, this feature has been managing the color LEDs located on the back of the TV, around the edge of the panel, independently and no longer in groups of LEDs, for significantly more precise synchronization with the images displayed on the screen.
Philips OLED950, P5 Gen9 Dual Engine
On the menu of Philips OLED950 TVs, the ninth generation of the P5 processor in its Dual Engine version, that is to say equipped with a double graphics engine for unprecedented image quality. The artificial intelligence functionality for example, in addition to Deep Learning and Machine Learning attributes (in its V3 version) via the AI Adaptive Intelligence process, is now able to optimize its performance from additional data: metadata, source information, analysis of a complete image, detection of the environment, big data learning… Similarly, the AI Adaptive Gamut Enhancer mode, particularly intended for Rec.709 sources, optimizes color rendering to fully exploit the wider colorimetric potential of the new Oled EX panel, for a more vivid saturation without affecting the skin tone. This color enhancement parameter is accessible to the user and can be adjusted according to their tastes: natural, balanced and vibrant.
